What usage does

Every deposit into the pool and every withdrawal from it pays a ramp fee of 5 basis points (fees and settlement). All of that fee is the protocol's, and it goes, in the same transaction, to the protocol fee account: a token account of a program address that no key signs for.

The fees leave that account one way only: a buyback, in one transaction. It claims an amount of them, swaps it for $HINDSIGHT through Jupiter, and burns every token the swap bought. Before the transaction ends, the program checks that the whole claim went into the swap and that the tokens received reach a floor fixed on chain, then burns them from its own account. No other instruction moves the fees, and the program keeps the total burned on chain.

More USDC moving through the pool means more of the fee, and more $HINDSIGHT bought and burned, against a supply that can only shrink.

Payments never need it

You pay and get paid in USDC. A deposit, a confidential payment, an accept and a withdrawal touch no other asset, so a payroll team and its compliance never hold $HINDSIGHT to use the pool.
